Reflecting on how far tea travels to Canada we began looking for alternatives that are closer to home. And to our surprise we found this amazing plant called Yaupon. At Grand River Tea we are home to Yaupon in Canada. Yaupon, is a sustainable indigenous plant which grows in Texas and is the only plant in North America to contain caffeine! Tea from the Asia, India and Africa travels approximately 15000 kms, Yaupon only travels approximately 2500KMS. We also offer another unique tea called purple tea and a selection of unique Canadian grown herbals.

Grand River Tea provides premium loose-leaf tea for our retail, wholesale and corporate clients. Our services includes private blends, packing, fundraising and retail sales.
